Volunteer Opportunities
All Volunteers - Critical to the success of our programming, volunteers with specialized skills and talents are welcome to explore opportunities to share their abilities with our community. Please contact our Campus Coordinator for more information.
Parent Volunteers - Volunteering sends the message to kids that their education is a priority and that you support them and their school. Not only will NLS reap the benefits of your hard work and enthusiasm - you will too. By interacting with teachers, administrators, and other parents on a regular basis, you'll gain a firsthand understanding of your child's daily activities and Northern Light School’s culture. We welcome your participation!

Year Round Opportunities
- Volunteer in the classroom
- Chaperone Field Trips
- Extended Care Snacks ($10=1 volunteer hour)
- Playground Maintenance – Trim weeds and plants
- Family Teacher Community – Serve on Core Team and/or committee, fundraise, attend monthly meeting
- Room Parents (PS-8) – Liaison between teacher and parents
- Sports Clubs/Teams – Volunteer coaching, transporting students to games
- Parent Ambassador – Help with admissions
- Student Clubs and/or After School Enrichment - Lead clubs or after school workshops
