Bio

Tracy is passionate about education. As far back as she can remember, she has always enjoyed teaching others and can’t imagine doing anything else.Tracy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience and has worked in Early Elementary for the past 15 years teaching Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Tracy is looking forward to teaching her sixth year of 2nd grade. She understands that building positive relationships with students and their families is the key to academic success.Tracy is a Bay Area native and currently resides in Castro Valley, CA with her husband. When she is not teaching,Tracy enjoys reading, cooking, playing tennis and gardening.

My job is to help children recognize and appreciate those gifts and talents in themselves and others. I would like all students to leave my class with confidence in their abilities, a love of learning and a greater appreciation for others.”
