Science-Third Grade Assignments

Hi awesome scientists!!! Please read each question carefully before answering. Once you have finished, make sure to click, 'submit'.

In class we started Steps 1-2 of the Ice Board Designer project in your work packet. Now it's time for you to build a model of your own ice board!!! Please complete steps 3-6, before turning in your packet at the end of this week. If you need a new worksheet, I have attached it below.

Please share your Investigation 3.4 "Magnets at Work"

In class, we watched the attached video to learn about animal adaptations and how they can survive in cold climates. You then designed a house to keep you warm during the cold winter. If you have time, you can even build a model of your home with clay or materials you find around your house. When you are finished, please make sure to attach a photo of your design (and model if you made one) - and mark assignment as complete. If you also want to describe your model on flipgrid, use the link below to tell the class more about your design. Have fun!!

Click the video below. Once it has opened, click on the "Hands on Activity" section of the video to follow along with Doug to finish making your paper house. STOP AFTER STEP 8:)
