Allie Montgomery

Allie is a passionate advocate for inclusive education, dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs. Her journey began in college working as a mentor for underserved youth in the foster and juvenile justice system in her Colorado hometown. After a move to the Bay Area, Allie has spent years developing a strong background in psychology through her work in schools across Alameda County as a behavior therapist. As a Learning Specialist at Northern Light School, Allie is looking forward to collaborating closely with students, families, and faculty to tailor learning strategies that help every student feel empowered to reach their fullest potential. 

Outside of her professional life, Allie may be found exploring the outdoors, playing music, making visual art of all kinds, and spending time with her cat, Cow. Allie is thrilled to join the Northern Light School community and looks forward to bringing her dedication and heart to support each student’s unique journey and growth.
