Donnie is an accomplished enrollment leader with over a decade of experience in independent school admissions. He brings a strategic, data-informed approach to enrollment management alongside a genuine passion for connecting students and families with the right educational communities. A graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon School, Donnie went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in English from Earlham College and recently completed his Master of Arts in Independent School Leadership from Columbia University's Teachers College Klingenstein Center, a journey that reflects his deep commitment to growing as both a practitioner and a leader in the field.
Over the course of his career, Donnie has worked across a range of independent school settings, from his early days at A Better Chance, where his commitment to access and equity was first rooted, to his time as Director of Admission at Redwood Day School in Oakland, CA. From 2024-2026, he served as Director of Admission & Financial Aid at The Putney School in Putney, VT, and on July 1, 2026 joined George School as Director of Enrollment Management.
Throughout these experiences, he brings with him a deep belief that every child deserves access to an outstanding educational environment. He has built a reputation for creating equitable and inclusive admission processes, expanding access for historically underrepresented students and families, and cultivating diverse, mission-aligned school communities. He is a faculty member of the Admission Training Institute (E3N) and co-founder of the EMA Changemaker Award, which honors enrollment colleagues of color for their contributions to the profession.
Outside of work, he loves traveling during school breaks, losing himself in a good book, and seeking out the most delicious meal in whatever city he finds himself in.
