Extended Day
Preschool Extended Day Program
Our preschool program offers morning care from 7:00 to 8:00 am and our preschool afternoon care runs from 3:35 to 6:00 pm. The preschool extended day program follows the rules and regulations for licensing and is separate from the K-8 extended day program. Only a certain number of students can be enrolled based on the adults in the room. For this licensing reason, drop-in extended day is not an option for our Preschool program. The preschool extended day program enrollment is on a first come first serve basis. Priority will be given to families who turn in their contracts first. Once the program is full, families will be placed on a waitlist and will be notified when a spot is available.
K-8 Extended Day Program
Northern Light School offers an Extended Care program that provides morning care and/or afternoon care for students in grades K-8. We offer morning care every day from 7:00 am - 8:00 am, while our afternoon care runs from 3:45-6:00 pm each day (2:15-6:00 pm on Wednesdays).
Northern Light School's extended care program is directed and run by our 1st grade teacher, Mr. Thurston, and is staffed by our dynamic NLS teachers and staff. PM Extended Care is an after-school enrichment program that combines activities in art, music, games, STEAM and sports, with homework assistance and structured play to help students learn, socialize, play, and unwind after the school day ends.
