Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month, and we took a more classroom centered approach to how students engage with the histories of our country’s Indigenous communities. From 8th grade through 6th grade, and down to our Lower School classes, students are learning about how different Native American communities have lived, continue to live, and thrive on a daily basis. Our hallways, display in front of the school, and exemplars of student work, highlight the depth of knowledge students are sharing with each other. Similar to our celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, we believe as a school in the power of uplifting people within our community and sharing their stories proudly.
