Naiesha Luckey is a Bay Area native who attended schools in the peninsula and south bay and has called the Bay Area home most of her life. She attended High School in Los Altos, California. After earning her diploma, she attended California State University Sacramento. Naiesha obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Ethnic Studies with a minor in Child Development. She worked with the Sacramento County Office of Education as an A.V.I.D teacher and in various roles as a classroom instructional assistant, Special Education teacher, case manager, and community outreach advisor.
Naiesha developed a passion and love for teaching that inspired her to obtain her M.A in Education from National University. During her program she specialized in culture, language and cognition, comparative education and multicultural education. She also specialized in reading and writing across the curriculum. She has taught grade levels K-12, most recently teaching 4th grade, 6th grade self-contained, 6-8th grade English/Language Arts, and 1-8th grade literacy.
