Kindergarten Assignments

A few weeks ago you had a lesson on Pictographs and Petroglyphs. In the bag of materials you picked up, there was a rock, a black "scratching" magic paper and some worksheets. I am attaching copies of some of the worksheets here in case you misplaced them. I am also attaching a link to the Lascaux cave in France which we visited in our virtual fieldtrip. Our visit was so short and I know many of you want to go back and take a closer look at the pictographs. Just click on the link below and you will be taken to the site. I would love to see the pictures you created in your black scratchy papers and the art on your rocks. Some of you may have challenged yourself to write a story to go with your pictograph. Please do share any work you have completed. You can take pictures of your work and you can either attach it here or send it to the WhatsApp phone group. I am so excited to see all of your wonderful work.

Please print the "Sign Language" alphabet chart(attached in the link below)and place it in an area where your child can see it daily and during our sessions together. I have also attached a video introducing them to "signing" the alphabet. I hope you have fun practicing.
