Cornell Maier's Dream
School since 1989, our first year of existence. We can actually say that Northern Light School is here because of the faith and confidence of Mr. Maier. In 1990, Mr. Maier established our Sponsorship Program to help counterbalance our Tuition Assistance Program. Between Mr. Maier's personal donations and the money generated from the Sponsorship Program, Northern Light School has received over a half a million dollars in donations!
One of Mr. Maier's dreams, since day one, is to see Northern Light School at full capacity. Mr. Maier believes that our current families and alumni are our best advertisement. He would like to extend to our families and alumni a gift of $1,000.00 in cash, payable in June 2011, to any families and alumni who recommend prospective students who are tested and accepted to Northern Light School and who complete the school year. This will not be money taken off your tuition account; it will be a gift from Mr. Maier for you to use as you choose. In addition, the $400 registration fee for each recommended incoming student will be waived for the first year of enrollment. It would be such an honor to announce during the 8th grade graduation that we have fulfilled Mr. Maier's dream. He has made so many of our dreams come true at Northern Light School and it is our turn to give back to him. Talk to your relatives, friends, church members, sport team members and others, and invite them to visit our school to learn about Northern Light as well as have their children tested for enrollment.
